I’ve been editing for over six years.
My Core Beliefs
I believe in the power of education. Every writer can create a great novel. The #1 issue holding them back is understanding how to build skills.
I believe in asking why. Questioning why certain advice works or how a novel could get away with going against the grain is the best path to understanding how to write and truly getting it.
I believe all stories are meaningful. There are no “trashy” novels in my eyes. Every book is delivering something important to the world. Whether it’s giving readers a reprieve from a harsh present or delivering a heartwarming message, all stories matter!
I believe in being honest in a way that inspires hope.” The point of the editing process is to guide writers to where they want to go, not crush them under the weight of their flaws.
Fun Facts About Me
I fit the small-town girl moves to the big-city trope.
Outside of reading, my favorite pastime is playing cozy games. (Stardew Valley, I’m looking at you).
I’m a huge swiftie. (Folklore and Evermore are her best albums, and I will be accepting no criticism on that).
My nerdiness knows no bounds. After Taylor Swift, you’ll catch me jamming to show tunes. (What can I say? I love a little razzle-dazzle.)
